Episode 2.05: Livian Yeh, Nightfall
Happy New Year, everyone!
We are now in a post Crazy Rich Asians world, people. On this episode we have not one but two but THREE Asian-American playwrights living in Boston between the host, featured playwright Livian Yeh, and co-host Christina Chan. We talk about Yeh’s examination of Maoist China Nightfall, acupuncture, the architect Maya Lin, superheroes and/or romance novels, translating plays into Chinese, and the Asian-American Playwright Collective, which was co-founded by the three of us (and others).
